Again with the meme
1. Is there anything someone else knows about them that they don't know yet?
Nope.
2. What is one thing that they would never admit about themselves?
He has a massive blind spot about his lack of direction, he refuses to even let his brain believe that he might be the one getting lost.
3. What are they are hiding from themselves?
In a sense, the fact that he does need other people. He doesn't want to believe it.
4. What is their greatest flaw? Greatest strength?
Flaw - that sense of direction. It's worse than his stubbornness.
Strength - loyalty, determination.
5. Who and/or what do they have the greatest faith in?
LUFFY. The man has the kind of faith and trust in Luffy that most apostles wish they could have of their god.
6. Do they have any secret wishes?
Not really. I don't like headcanoning things like that, they could potentially contradict his actual character.
7. What are their proudest, most embarrassing, and most devastating moments?
Proudest - I don't think he's had one yet. He's had some pretty stellar victories, so far, but a true moment of pride in himself that outshines all others hasn't really happened yet. His pride in Luffy isn't contained to one moment. His pride in himself that he's taking what he learned by training under Mihawk and applying it to continue to grow is also not a single moment.
Most embarrassing - having the cook laugh at him for what Perona's negative hollow made him do/say. It wasn't so much that he was vulnerable to its power after all, but that Sanji saw it, gave him shit about it, and laughed until his sides hurt. That was more embarrassing than succumbing to the negative.
Most devastating - finding out Kuina had died.
8. What is their deepest regret? Greatest disappointment? Worst nightmare?
It isn't a deep regret but it's his only one: demanding that Kuina fight him with real blades. Most of the time he's okay with that decision, only rarely does he think "man that led to the shittiest day of my life so maybe that wasn't smart."
Disappointment: in himself, the moment he stood with Mihawk's knife in his chest and realized just how far he had to go to even match this man, let alone surpass him.
Nightmare: literally none since he doesn't remember his dreams when he wakes up, but metaphorically, it would be watching Luffy (and/or the rest of the crew) die before his eyes.
9. What is their greatest achievement? Greatest hope?
He hasn't had a greatest achievement yet, he's still working toward it and every little victory is a step toward it. His hope is in Luffy, and in the expectation that he will be Pirate King someday with Zoro at his side.
10. Do they have an obsession? Who or what is it?
Swords. Swords swords swords swords. Swords and swordsmanship, both his own and opponents'.
11. Who do they most want to please? Why?
Luffy, moreso than anyone. Because he doesn't need to please anyone in this life, at all, he only has to meet his own (very high) standards. But because Luffy is his captain and the man to whom he has pledged his life, he would be devastated if Luffy was ever genuinely disappointed in him for any reason.
12. What is their family like?
No living family. The crew is his family and enough has been said on that topic elsewhere.
13. Where would they most want to live? With who?
On the Thousand Sunny with Luffy and the crew forever.
14. Describe their bedroom
Why is this one in every questions list?! He doesn't have one to describe.
15. What is their birth date? Do they fit their astrological sign?
November 11, which makes him a Scorpio. He fits some traits - loyalty, stubbornness, determination, a need for improving himself constantly and being competitive - but not others. He has no interest in vengeance or grudges, doesn't give two shits about the occult or religion, and he's not that intuitive toward other people. He certainly is intense, unemotional, and trusts his instincts, but he's not controlling or jealous or possessive.
16. What would they bring if they had to live for six months in seclusion?
Just his swords. Oh gee he kind of had to do that didn't he? Having to live with cold-shouldered Mihawk and his alcohol prohibition for two years counts as seclusion.
17. What angers them? What calms them?
He's easy to set off, if you know just the right words and insults to push his buttons. Sanji knows them well. He gets annoyed and frustrated more easily than getting truly angry, so if he loses his temper, it's more from the former than the latter. Easy to irritate, hard to anger, because his true anger is cold and dangerous. Enemies heaping up reasons to hate them and want to take them down a few pegs will do that. Not that Zoro gets angry on other people's behalf, more like he can see what a foe is doing and knows asshole behavior when he sees it.
He can be calmed by the presence of his crew around them - if they aren't ruffled, he calms down. Luffy's laughter or gentle admonishment cools him fast. The source of the irritation drying up, or the topic at hand changing to one that distracts him also works. And, clearly, drinking.
18. Describe a recurring dream or nightmare that they may or do have
He doesn't remember his dreams, ever, but if he could he might realize that he does have recurring dreams about being a child again. Not so much about Kuina or anything besides having adventures getting in the way of training at the dojo, but he dreams about that island a lot. More than he realizes.
19. What choices lead to their current situation?
Pretty much just Luffy asking him if he'd rather die for his principles or give them up, live, and go with him to achieve their goals together. Nuff said.
20. What wakes them in the middle of the night?
Nothing. He is a dumb heavy sleeper who's usually just going to bed in the middle of the night so.
21. How would a stranger describe them? A close friend or relative?
Strangers tend to call him things like murderous, bloodthirsty, etc, they don't know what to make of him besides what his reputation implies. Luffy would call him a great guy, lots of fun and really string.
22. Does anyone depend on them? Who and why?
Luffy, and all the crew. Because that's what crew do.
23. If they had one month to live, what would they do?
Depends on how close he feels he is to his goal. If he really feels like he can take on the world and die as the greatest, he might strike out to find Mihawk and put an end to that question. He might even do something Roger-like to sacrifice himself for the good of the crew. But if he still feels like he's got too far to go to be called the world's strongest, he would devote that time to making sure Luffy is as powerful as possible, so that when he reaches Raftel he'll be ready.
24. What is their most notable physical attribute?
Let's see, is it the broad chest and shoulders? The scar on his chest? Something like that.
Nope.
2. What is one thing that they would never admit about themselves?
He has a massive blind spot about his lack of direction, he refuses to even let his brain believe that he might be the one getting lost.
