1. What position does your character sleep in? ( i.e; stomach, side, back, etc. ) Describe why they do this — optional.

Depends on where he is! In his hammock? On his back. In the crow's nest, on deck, or similar places? Sitting up, maybe slumped over a little. Lazing around anywhere else out in the open? His back or maaaaaybe his side sometimes. He really doesn't sleep on his stomach very often if at all.

2. Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc.

GEE I WONDER. His massive chest scar is very visible these days, since he wears his shirts open as much as he can. The scar over his eye may be thinner and less angry-looking, but it's extremely noticeable. His three earrings are notable if only because they're not pierced, he wears clip-ons.

3. Does your character have an accent? What does it sound like?

Not really - he just has an extremely informal, casual manner of speech. I tend to convey it in writing by dropping definite articles and shortening his sentences, not so much in dropped-g endings or anything that would make him sound like he has an accent.

4. Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?

Nope. He does swear a lot, though.

5. What are their chief tension areas?

I don't get this one. Things that cause him tension or parts of his body where he gets tense or aches when under stress?

6. If you were to pick one song — and only one song — to describe your character, what would it be and why?

Nah I don't do songs.

7. How does your character perceive themselves? Positive? Negative? Neutral?

Positive, in an indifferent manner. He doesn't actively think of himself but he has a positive image and expectation.

8. Are they a quick thinker or do they need time to sort through their thoughts?

He can think on his feet when required (particularly when fighting) but when it comes to deeper thoughts, forming impressions, etc, Zoro takes his time. That's why he doesn't talk as much, he's usually silently thinking.

9. Does your character dream or are their nights filled with an empty blackness? Describe a dream they’ve had or a night they couldn’t sleep and what they did to preoccupy their time.

He does dream, but he doesn't remember his dreams. Ever. They're usually not that eventful. Very, very rarely does he find painful things from his past, like Kuina or Kuma, popping up in his dreams, but they tend to fade as soon as he wakes so he doesn't really get affected by nightmares.

In all honesty, he has such a bizarre sleep schedule that he doesn't ever really feel like he needs to sleep or "can't sleep." If he's not asleep he's awake and just does stuff. In extremely rare situations, if he's bored and has the privacy for it, he might masturbate in order to fall asleep if he otherwise can't. But that's so ridiculously rare - more often than not, if Zoro is awake when the rest of the crew is asleep, he takes it on himself to keep watch.

10. If they had a choice, would they prefer a subway or a bus for public transportation?

Pfft what. idk. SEA TRAIN.

11. What do they think of creation? Do they believe in evolution or do they believe in God? What is their religion like?

Zoro is a pure atheist. He does not believe in gods, devils, anything. But he's nice about it - he doesn't care if other people have beliefs. He doesn't mock them, tell them they're wrong, or scoff at their beliefs. He only takes responsibility for himself, and thus, has no religious beliefs of any type. He does, however, believe strongly in luck or fate.

12. Describe 5 unusual characteristics your muse has.

His terrible sense of direction is legendary - he gets lost in straight corridors with no exits. He has an inhuman and unexplained ability to heal extraordinarily fast and essentially "sleep off" blood loss within a few hours. His hair is naturally that seafoam-green color - but only the hair on his head, his eyebrows are black and so is the rest of his body hair. Uhh I can't think of two more.

13. Have they ever been so overwhelmed they had to stop and take a break from something?

Zoro, take a break? Never! Being overwhelmed isn't something he has to deal with often, but on rare occasions when there's too many enemies on his back or he just has too much to think about, he forges ahead without stopping.

14. Are they a team player or do they prefer to be solo?

Nakama forever. At least he knows his place within the crew, and which things he alone can do that the others can't.

15. Can they multi-task or must they focus on one subject at a time?

There aren't a lot of things requiring Zoro's attention, so he doesn't need to multi-task. Unless you're talking about handling multiple enemies at once, in which case he's very good at it.

16. What are their best school subjects? What are their worst? List five of each.

N/A

17. Is your character an introvert or an extrovert? How do they handle big crowds of people?

Introvert, actually. But he's not painfully shy or awkward, he simply prefers to people-watch, and keeps personal things to himself. He still knows how to party.

18. Are they a leader, do they prefer to follow, or would they rather just stay on the sidelines altogether?

Despite his undying loyalty to Luffy, Zoro is neither a leader nor a follower. He's a loner, if anything, or was prior to the crew. He takes charge and does his own thing, but still defers 100% to his captain. He doesn't sit, he acts.

19. If your character was suddenly challenged, would they rather run away or stay and fight?

It seems like a duh, but. Zoro knows when to fight and when to let it be. He knows how to read challenges and has an honest assessment of his strength and purpose.

20. If your character was allowed to murder one person without any consequences, who would that person be and why?

No one. He would rather fight sincerely to vanquish a foe, and he holds no grudges that deep.

21. Your character has been granted 3 wishes; what would they wish for and why?

Probably three bottles of the best alcohol in existence. Zoro prefers to work for both his own dreams and to allow his comrades to work for their own dreams - he'd never wish someone back to life, nor would he wish any of their goals to be made true without them putting in the effort to make it happen. Wishes would be for entirely frivolous things, like booze or money.

22. Does your character trust people right off the bat or does it take them some time to warm up to someone?

Depends on if he can get an honest read on them. He's usually right about his instincts, so if he feels like he can trust someone, he's generally not wrong. But once in a while he needs to take time - such as with Robin. I don't think, however, that he truly distrusted her, but he could tell there was more to her than Luffy might have expected, and he was pragmatic about the possibility that her past catching up to her on Water Seven might have led to her leaving the crew.

23. Do they prefer romance or affection? What is the quickest way to your character’s heart?

Zoro's only real perception of "romance" is that flowery shit Sanji spews, and he wants no part of that. But he doesn't mind affection. He's shy about it, and tries to be subtle about his own in return. He just wants to be treated normally, though now that he's discovering what it's like, he does like to be touched. But only by the one person he has feelings for. The way to his heart isn't to dote on him, but to display trust and intimacy and allow him to return the favor on his own time.

24. Does your character have any enemies? If so, who and why?

Of course. But no long-term rivals he chases with the purpose of someday destroying. Not even Mihawk - he's not an enemy. Mihawk is in a category of his own, because yes Zoro yearns to defeat him as a mark of his growth and because the world will use that event as a reason to start calling him the world's greatest swordsman. But he bears no ill will against the man, not after being trained by him.

25. Do they have any weird bedroom habits? Any unusual kinks?

Sadly, Zoro's pretty vanilla, aside from a like for slightly rough sex (biting, wrestling into submission) and maybe extremely light bondage. He's also a switch.

26. How does your character prepare for bed? Do they sleep at all or can they stay awake for days on end without trouble?

He doesn't even...Zoro will flop into his hammock fully dressed and pass out on the spot. He canonly sleeps only about 3 hours a night and supplements it with numerous naps, but if necessary, he can stay up for days. The longest he's ever been up continually was at Enies Lobby, they were awake and fighting to the limits of exhaustion for something like three full days. Eventually, though, he'll crash.

27. If your character had one thing to say to their parents before they died, what would it be?

Not knowing how old he really was when he lost them, he probably didn't have anything to say. He was a child.

28. Are they afraid of death? Do they have any regrets?

Absolutely not. Zoro gave himself up for death the minute he chose to pursue his goal, and affirmed that commitment by sailing under Luffy's black flag. But death doesn't bother him. He's been ready for it for a long time. As of now, he has no regrets, but if he comes to a point where his strength fails him and he has to die without fulfilling his dream - or, really, without getting to see Luffy become Pirate King, he may regret that.

29. Does your character get restless when things are too quiet or do they favour solitude and silence? Why?

He's a loner. He enjoys the silence. But he isn't one of those people who can't take the noise, either - he accepts whatever he gets wherever he is. Is it a raucous party? Cool. Is it dead silent and peaceful? Cool.

30. If your character was forced to eat one thing for the rest of their life, what would they choose and why?

Onigiri. It's his favorite.
