Robin's smile widened only slightly. It's petty, she knew, but deep inside she enjoyed being preferred. Her fingers slipped up to the side of his neck, and another bloomed from the elbow to press a palm against his forehead. She glanced at a clock and began counting each time she felt a weak pulse.
