Open RP log - Gen
This is the place to come to goof off, out of game context and just for fun. In-person interactions open to anyone who wants a piece of Zoro.
Fighting is a-ok! Shenanigans and a modicum of crack also welcome. Shippy stuff should be cleared with me first, via PM or Plurk. I don't really do AUs but Cerealia-setting is okay.
Some prompt ideas I'd like to play out:
- castmate interactions he hasn't gotten in canon
- OP-universe settings: at sea, dangerous islands, Marine bases, scene-between-scenes
- talkin' swords with sword people
- get him to open up about things like his past, his blades, what he did during the timeskip...
- drinking games
- nursing back to health
- angst. Yeah. Angst.

At Zoro's explanation, Sanji frowned, the chopping of the potatoes creating a sharp, staccato rhythm on the countertop. "Isn't that two, then, that are after your swords? Wasn't that cute Marine girl interested in them too?" he asked. He then let out a snort and nodded. Of course it's yours. You did win it. And besides..." Here he smirked. "We're pirates. Taking 'treasure' is sort of our thing, right?" Even if they were technically rather lousy pirates in that regard, then.

Zoro stared at the counter in front of him for a moment, and then slowly lifted an eye to catch Sanji's gaze. "It might have been Brook's shadow, but some part of him was still the samurai. That part gave me his sword." He harrumphed over the mouth of the bottle. "You'd think a samurai would get that, but no. Asshole won't even listen."
no subject
"Then you make him listen. The idiot tends to go for the dramatic, in whatever he says or does... You have to cut him off before he starts and be blunt and to the point with him." Sanji then smirked, playfully, at Zoro. "Not TOO difficult for a guy like you to do." He then broke their gaze, shaking his head and chopping the last of the potatoes. "If you have to be rough with him, then do it. Sounds like he just needs some sense knocked into him."
no subject
He watched Sanji at work for a bit; it was always magical, how raw vegetables and meat and other things transformed into amazing food in his hands. "And then there's Law. Can't figure him out, either." Oh, Zoro had his theories, but he was curious what others thought.
no subject
He paused, thinking. "After we finish up this prisoner exhange or whatever shit Law's got planned. I don't quite have a bead on him either, but I'm getting the feel that this is a more personal vendetta." He frowned and shrugged. "Can't say anything for sure yet, though. Luffy trusts him. Even if Luffy will trust nearly ANYONE - particularly if they give him food - that's good enough for me for now."
no subject
"It's not that I don't trust him. Luffy likes him, and as weird as it is, Luffy's never wrong about a person." He sipped thoughtfully. "It's been a while since we had anyone like him aboard. Someone not easy to read. Guy's got a lot of secrets, you can just feel it."
But if Sanji had concerns about any of this blackmail bullshit being personal, Zoro would keep an eye on Law just in case. No one would put his crew at risk, not even an ally. He shrugged it off and took a much deeper drink. "Fine, fine. I'll save kicking Kin'emon's ass till later. He'll just have to hold his water till then."
no subject
"Hmm, true," he said, nodding. "Like Robin-chan, then? Well, we've all got our secrets. No real harm in that, unless it starts to affect the mission."
He didn't quite get the 'holding his water' bit, but could easily guess at it's meaning. "Wonder how much longer we'll be STUCK with this whole lot. It's not like we haven't had others travelling with us before, but I get the feeling they'll be hanging around us a LOT longer than usual." He then pouted dramatically, slumping his shoulders. "And not a cute girl in the LOT!"
no subject
Which, to be fair, Zoro was not opposed to. He had never known until now how much he needed to visit a country like Wa. Even if he wasn't a samurai he knew talented swordsmen when he saw them, and if that island could be crawling with them, well...

Once all the meat was cooked, he set it aside to cool. It would be re-heated again later, when added to the potatoes when cooking them all in the stew.
Sanji leaned against the counter, pulling out a cigarette and lighting it up, blowing the smoke up to the ceiling. "Che... And we'll probably have to give Law a ride back to wherever HIS crew is, too, so that's two places out of our way. Not that we have any real set course anyway... but we're not a fucking TAXI, here! I just hope we get this shit with Caesar dealt with fast. The sooner that guy's off our ship the better."
no subject
He shrugged it off and decided to change the subject so they wouldn't wallow in their complaints. His eye went to the cigarette in slender fingers and sultry lips. Damn. "With all these people on board," he murmured, "it's gonna be hard to find somewhere quiet. Private."
no subject
"... damn," he hissed out. Fuck, it had been long ENOUGH already... Two damned years, and too little TIME in-between all these chaotic adventures... Between reuniting on Saboady and making a run for it, being split up on Fishman Island then fighting Hody and his crew, splitting up again on Punk Hazard and dealing with all the shit with Law and Caesar... they'd barely had ANY time to get anything much more than a couple hurried kisses and gropes in. Let ALONE anything MORE. He didn't focus too much on it during said adventures because - hello - fighting for your life kind of took precedence! But in the down time? Sailing between islands?
Sanji was starting to get very stressed, having only tastes without having the full meal.
"Shit! Gaahhh... as if things hadn't been busy enough BEFORE. Where the damned hell can we even..? Crows nest is too open, you KNOW people'll be pounding on the door the moment we try to use the bathroom, the boy's cabin is right out.. I could try to lock all the doors, but... dammit, gotta cover the windows and like HELL we're using the table or anywhere NEAR the kitchen... and if Luffy wants to bust into the kitchen you KNOW he will..."
Sanji grasped his head in frustration, tugging at his hair. "And who knows what the hell kind of shit we're going to find on Dressrosa! Dammit!"
no subject
He rubbed his face while he thought. "What about the aquarium? After dark, when everyone else is asleep or on watch."
no subject
Sanji paused, thinking... then slowly straightend. "Yes... Yes, that could work. Would have to find a way to lock the door. Maybe shove the piano against it. With all these shitty devil fruit users on board, none of them will be going INTO the aquarium... and I can't see any of the few that DO know how to swim diving in during the middle of the damned shitty night anyway! Yes... yes, the aquarium room is good!" He looked over at Zoro, hoping the tension he could feel in his body wasn't easily readable. "Tonight, then?"
no subject
"I'm not on watch," he said to confirm. "Law's taking a shift so I'm free as soon as you are." The smirk widened the more he thought about it. Yes, good. Finally a night to themselves, as long as they could keep nosy captains out of their business. Maybe he would have to chase Luffy around the ship to wear him out so he would pass out asleep instead of follow them around.
Of course, they still had to get through dinner, but eh, no sweat.
no subject
"I'm not free until dinner's over. I can probably wrangle someone into doing the dishes though. Who, though? Can't ask Nami-san or Robin-chan. There is no WAY I am trusting Luffy to do it. I have my misgivings about Kinemon, but... maybe. Somehow I just can't picture LAW washing dishes. So I'll probably rope Usopp or Franky or Brook into doing them, then. .... If I get Brook to do it, that'll also probably keep him from thinking about playing the piano down there, too."
no subject
Since he was already in the kitchen, Zoro decided to just hang out there until after dinner was served. He could watch the cook do his thing, enjoy the view, and play it totally cool around the others until after they were all full and happy. Then, he would excuse himself to take care of whatever matters a Zoro needed to take care of, and slip down into the lounge by himself. Hopefully, no one would follow him, whether out of curiosity or boredom. If need be, he would steal one of the bottles of wine kept down there and make like he was going to get drunk by himself.
Or maybe he'd just pop open a bottle for fun anyway. He and the cook deserved it.

Dinner was the usual noisy affair, made all the MORE louder with Kinemon and Momonosuke and Caesar all squabbling and yelling and carrying on with Luffy and Usopp and Chopper and other loud nakama. At least Law was quiet. If abnormally picky. Really... who didn't like BREAD?! At least he was quiet. After dinner, Sanji managed to wrangle Brook into doing the dishes (after a bit of arguing and the threat of a few well-placed kicks). He stepped out onto the lower dock with the excuse of having a smoke, leaning against the wall near the lounge's door. When he was certain no one was looking, he slipped into the room, closing the door behind him and looking for a chair or something - anything - to secure the door with.
Mission accomplished... so far. But damn, if they had to keep doing this for who knows how long? It was going to get frustrating, fast.
no subject
He looked up quickly at the creak of the door, even though his haki already told him it was the only person allowed to come in, and then grinned to himself as he popped the cork on one of the lower-end bottles of wine kept in the wine rack. "Coast is clear, I take it?" he murmured, unable to hide his eagerness.
no subject
"Yeah. The crew's all off either getting ready for the night, or fooling around upstairs. We're good, for now." He glanced quickly at the label on the wine bottle, then nodded faintly. None of the good stock, good. Sliding out of his jacket, he tossed it and his tie on the piano bench, then collapsed onto the couch next to Zoro.
Looking over at the swordsman, he felt another rush of interest, reaching out to touch fingertips lightly against his nearest shoulder. There were parts of him that still couldn't believe that he had fallen for a man... but godDAMN... at least he fell for one with the body of a god... The strength of his convictions and loyalty were nothing to sneeze at, either.
"So are you going to spend your time here drinking?" he said teasingly.

Usually, Zoro was the one to get right down to it, the finer points of foreplay tended to go right over his head, but once in a while he didn't mind taking his time. It wasn't that he didn't want to, but it had taken so long for them to finally get a private moment to themselves, he wanted to draw it out as long as possible. Then again, if he wasted too much time, he risked Luffy getting bored poking at Momo or Law and coming to look for them so...
He settled back against the couch and draped his free hand over Sanji's knee, reminding himself what it felt like. During their time apart the cook had filled out nicely, he was no longer scrawny and tough but thickly muscled, Zoro could feel it in the thigh beneath his hand. Hngh yes he needed to feel more of that.
no subject
Sanji usually preferred to take his time, too. To savour the moment, build up anticipation... Sometimes the foreplay was just as much fun as the actual sex! But it had been too long apart, and their times together so far had been too brief, and this tension he could feel along his back needed easing. Now.
He hummed at the feel of Zoro's hand on his thigh. He might have (finally!) filled out, some... but he still was NOTHING compared to the swordsman. Would never compare to the swordsman's physique; he just wasn't built for it; his muscles were used in different ways. Zoro was just... sheer power, always HAD been, and now he was like a mountain. His hand slid from Zoro's shoulder to the back of his neck, long fingers playing with his hair. The slightly-longer hair was nice, too. A little bit more to tug and play with.
Smirking, Sanji leaned in, tugging Zoro towards him with the hand on his neck. "Give me a taste, then," he said... and went in for a kiss.
(ooc: this'll be 'interesting'... as I only have 2 "kissy" icons in the whole batch x.x; Haven't really had the need for them, much. c_c;; -cough-)
no subject
His kiss was hard and eager, and within moments he was already leaning toward the cook, throwing an arm over his waist, diving in to grab as much of him as he could hold and ravage those lips with all the ferocity he usually reserved for fighting. Shit even the little stolen moments here and there in the last few weeks hadn't whetted his appetite one bit, he knew this time they wouldn't stop and it drove him wild. Heat colored his cheeks and earlobes, rushed down his spine, tingled in his hips and came to rest in his groin. Yes please, he needed it more than he could admit to himself.
[ooc: don't worry, I've only got 3 XD]
no subject
He - loathe as he was to admit it out loud - missed Zoro's forcefulness, the way he would just dive in and take charge... overwhelm him with passion. The feel of those strong arms around him, gripping him... so much stronger, now! Sanji kissed back just as ferociously, both hands coming up to grip and TUG at Zoro's collar, pulling him forward into the kiss, tongue seeking entry into Zoro's mouth. As he tugged Zoro forward, he leaned back against the couch's cushions, sliding one leg up to press up against Zoro's hips. He wanted him CLOSER, dammit! They'd been apart for too long; now he couldn't get close enough.
[ooc: heh XD And how far do we take this, too? ^^; What are you comfortable with?]

[ooc: anything and everything, I am no smut virgin. :3 So whatever you're good with, I will follow!]
