Open RP log - Gen

This is the place to come to goof off, out of game context and just for fun. In-person interactions open to anyone who wants a piece of Zoro.

Fighting is a-ok! Shenanigans and a modicum of crack also welcome. Shippy stuff should be cleared with me first, via PM or Plurk. I don't really do AUs but Cerealia-setting is okay.

Some prompt ideas I'd like to play out:

- castmate interactions he hasn't gotten in canon
- OP-universe settings: at sea, dangerous islands, Marine bases, scene-between-scenes
- talkin' swords with sword people
- get him to open up about things like his past, his blades, what he did during the timeskip...
- drinking games
- nursing back to health
- angst. Yeah. Angst.

"If you can't beat them physically, outsmart them," Robin said softly, nodding her head. It was a concept that had kept her alive more often than not. She dabbed the hot cloth against a deep laceration over his ribs and held it there, letting the heat and the water do the work rather than friction or force. Several little tugs at the bandage later, and his wounds were totally exposed to the air. Robin waved a hand over some of the still weeping ones, letting them breathe a little as other hands rinsed and wrung out the cloth a few times. The water had cooled a bit, so it wouldn't scald as she began cleaning his skin. Fresh gauze shored up the open cuts, held firmly in place by extra fleur sprouted for the purpose. These wounds would heal, and Zoro would be that much the wiser in the future. "Some people just don't know how to lose gracefully," she said, thinking back on his words. "They're terrible. They should have believed in their swordsman more. Then they wouldn't have had to resort to deception."

Sighing, Zoro closed his eye and sat tight until she was finished. Not a twitch, not a wince. It felt good to have everything washed up and properly tended, though, there was a freshness to it even if he would be back under the mummy-wrap soon enough. "Thanks," he murmured, to make sure she knew.

He mulled over her observation and grunted a bit in agreement. "He wasn't bad. But he only knew his one technique, not well-rounded enough. Still...you're right." He had pulled his fatal strike, to give the idiot a chance to learn a few new tricks for the next group to blunder across this island; the subsequent booby trap probably rendered his mercy moot. Damn. "No sense looking back. Forward, and on to the next adventure."
